Market Minute: Nvidia (NVDA) Earnings Preview

Nvidia (NVDA) reports 2Q25 earnings after the bell tomorrow. The stock is up almost 175% over the last year and has an implied move of $12 on the report. Zacks estimates EPS at $0.64 and revenue of $28.42 billion.

Of course, Nvidia’s meteoric rise has been driven by its leadership in A.I. chips, with demand high across the board and production constrained. To keep up the stock momentum, investors will be looking for comments on future demand expectations. Nvidia will have to project confidence in a ballooning market even as the flip side of A.I. becomes more and more apparent: enormous use of water, straining the electrical grid, copyright lawsuits, inaccuracies in chatbots, and use cases that may be more limited than initially thought. Nvidia also has tough comps to beat, and it will need to discuss the reported manufacturing delay of its next-gen chips.

Will Nvidia’s path forward impress the market? Or is an A.I. bubble straining at the seams? Tune into Schwab Network for earnings breakdowns and more.
