Market Minute Overtime: Rebecca Walser

Rebecca Walser has been ranked a Top Financial Adviser. In 2023, Forbes named her one of the “Top Best-in-State Financial Security Professionals” for a track record of preserving her client's wealth over the long term. Her many credentials include author, tax attorney, and wealth strategist, with a Global MBA from The London School of Economics.
Rebecca surprised Schwab Network Lead Anchor Nicole Petallides back in September of 2024 when she said a recession is coming and stocks could drop 30%.
Walser continued to repeat that prediction through 2025 and once again made that call on April 2, just days before the huge stock market sell-off that was triggered by the Trump Administration’s call for tariffs. The major averages fell into bear market territory, 20% off the 52-week highs, and the stock market lost over $6 trillion dollars in market value.
In her interview, she shares her advice on how to navigate market volatility which she expects will continue. Rebecca Walser looks to commodities, staples, and stocks with long term value that can weather the volatile times.
Walser continues to like gold, seeing central banks’ interests, and its position as a trusted stalwart. Also, Rebecca shares three stock picks for your portfolio for the long-term.
She notes we are in a multiyear transition, face intense competition from China, and has global macro concerns. Her feeling is the market faces many headwinds, and in her interview explains how to preserve and grow wealth in volatile uncertain times where more downside risk exists, and more downside price action is likely in our future.
